I know the answer is I can also use the "legacy titler", but as we all learned with Encore, once something goes legacy it is going to break, so I just am forcing myself to use this although the old title method had many more pre-build and attractive titles. If you already have NewBlue Titler Pro, you have a good product and the Boris Titler in Pro 4 is another. NewBlue can run as a standalone, which is fun if you just feel like working on titles without anything else. Is this possible to save my settings for future use? It seems like this should be pretty basic. In Vegas Pro, for example, NewBlue renders much faster than Boris, and has the Preset library, so NewBlue is better for Vegas users. I have seen the threads on how you can't export, or it is grayed out, or it only works with motion graphics. It is the same in the free version of TP7 for Edius. In the videos I did for the free version on TP5 for Edius, I showed how to save a title. So I don't want to have to go through and change the font, location, every time I want this same lower thirds. In Quick titler or VisTitle its just a case of hitting 'Save as' or uto save as' and a new title is created totally independant of the previous title. and just want to re-use it in another project. Anyway, I created a basic lower third, changed fonts, location, etc. I was not going to try to hunt down the right font in the middle of a project. I just created a basic lower thirds title from one of the basic templates provided (although several I tried wouldn't work because the fonts were not installed.why were the titles installed without the fonts?). Titler Pro 5 is a time-saving tool that produces some stunning results, with a vast array of templates and pre-built animations that can add a lot to your videos. I have searched and have seen the complaining about the new tool, I will just say.
